Greetings!
Anyone who is from Buffalo has an understanding of the city's historical diversity of ethnicity-from the Italians
of the West Side to the Polish population of the South towns. It is not just about the chicken wings! This kind
of wonderful eclectic blend of Buffalo heritage is what comprises my own ancestry: Italian, Irish, Canadian,
German, English, and Dutch. For over 25 years I have been researching each strand of this family tree
starting backwards from Buffalo. It has allowed me to travel, meet new people, and learn a great deal of history.
In that process I have also discovered unconditional generosity. For every person that I have been able to help
with their research, there have been at least five others who answered one of my e-mails, mailed me copies of
an important document, shared photos and stories (believe it or not-suitcases) or who just became my friends.
This site is my way of finally sharing all that I have gleaned in hope that one small detail might open the door
for others as it has been opened so many times for me by others who share the passion of wanting to know more
about themselves only to find that we are all the same after all. Special thanks to my family for their patience
and understanding over the years with my "hobby" and a very sincere thanks to others who have helped
me to connect the dots...
To the rest-Good Luck and Happy Hunting!
Your Cousin,
Richelle
